What types of vehicles are accepted?

The hosts within the Agricamper network are primarily agricultural farms and other establishments that are not classified as campsites or farm camping. Consequently, the constant availability of toilets, waste disposal, or showers operating 24 hours a day is not guaranteed.

Therefore, only self-sufficient vehicles are accepted within the Agricamper network, such as motorhomes, campervans, or caravan trailers that are fully equipped with internal toilets, wastewater tanks, and internal kitchens. Portable toilets, such as chemical toilets (Porta Potti) or composting toilets (Trelino), are also permitted.

It’s important to note that the dump of grey and black water, in compliance with regulations, should be done exclusively at designated Camper Service facilities (discover dump stations in Italy where you can freely load potable water and dispose of grey and black water at no cost). Please show respect for the hosts and the surrounding environment by avoiding any form of littering or damage.

Which specific categories of vehicles are accepted?

  • motorhomes: hosts may accommodate motorhomes of various sizes, depending on available space, including larger ones (+3.5 T / +7.5 m);
  • campervans: self-contained vehicles equipped with internal toilets and wastewater hosts, including portable toilets;
  • self-sufficient caravans: most hosts accept self-sufficient caravans that are energy independent and equipped with freshwater and greywater tanks;
  • roof tents: staying with a roof tent is allowed only if a portable toilet is available. Approval from the host is necessary before using an outdoor kitchen.

Which vehicles are not allowed?

Access to the network is restricted for camping tents and overnight stays in cars or trucks within Agricamper hosts.

Are there restrictions on vehicle sizes?

Based on the available space, the hosts accept various types of vehicles:

  • Standard campers
  • Large-sized campers: over 3.5 tonnes / 7.5 meters
  • Caravans (camperized)

Accessing “Profile” and selecting “App settings“, you need to choose the category of your vehicle: camper or campervan, large-sized campers, or caravans.

By changing vehicle, do I need to purchase a new Agricamper membership?

If you have an active subscription and change vehicles (which must always be autonomous), you don’t need to purchase a new subscription; simply update the license plate of the new vehicle.

Once you have obtained your new vehicle registration plate, please contact us by email with your first name, last name, the email associated with your account, and the new plate number. We will take care of the update.

Once the license plate number has been updated, please close or uninstall the Agricamper app to view your updated registration plate number.

You’ll be able to continue traveling within the Agricamper network with the new vehicle until the expiration date of your current membership.

Which registration plate should be used for a caravan?

When you reach the checkout stage and need to enter your vehicle details, we kindly ask you to specify exclusively the registration plate of the caravan.

Please remember, the associated registration plate should solely belong to the caravan and not to the towing vehicle or other means.

Therefore, while inputting your vehicle information, focus solely on the registration plate of the caravan you intend to use for membership and parking at Agricamper sites

Can I use leveling systems?

Yes, you are free to use leveling systems to make your vehicle’s stop more comfortable. However, it’s essential to be careful to avoid causing any damage.

Maintaining proper leveling will allow you to enjoy a more comfortable stay without causing any inconvenience to the host.
